Trainee Manual QA Engineer
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC);
- Familiarity with testing concepts: functional, regression, smoke, and UI testing;
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript);
- Understanding of SQL/NoSQL and basic database queries;
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git);
- Basic knowledge of API testing concepts (Postman);
- Understanding of bug tracking tools (Jira);
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking;
- Good communication skills and a sense of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Perform Security testing of web applications;
- Perform functional and non-functional testing of web applications;
- Submit bug reports and define bugs’ importance;
- Analyze project requirements;
- Create and maintain test documentation.
